I can’t seem to get to anybody’s blogs that are on blogspot. I can get elsewhere so I think it’s blogger…
So Montey and I went yarn shopping today. Bonnie Knits is having an awesome sale and we went and took advantage of it. Wow! That is the first time I’ve gone to Bonnie’s on a Saturday during their sale. Busy! Saw Jillz too! Then we left there and went to Kathy’s Kreations as well.
Montey got Lopi and Lamb’s Pride at Bonnie’s and then some other natural wool that he likes at Kathy’s as well as another skein of Lopi. Here’s his purchases of the day:
I set out thinking, “It’s not like I really need any yarn.” LOL. Famous last words. First off, the last time I was at Bonnie’s I’d seen some pretty pink sock yarn that glittered too. (pink and glitter… sometimes I scare myself) So I picked that up, then some red, white and blue striped Regia, then some pretty Lorna’s Laces… I did manage to refrain from the Noro that kept trying to leap into my bag… Then we went to Kathy’s and on the way into the store I got bit by a lace bug…
It’s not like it was the first time this year that I’d gone yarn shopping…
There was this small case of two auctions on eBay…
Then, before that, two Saturdays ago, I’d gone to Bonnie’s and Knit Wits both on the same day…
Now if I could just knit faster…
Montey pointed out as I was taking pictures of the stash enhancement… I missed another pair of slippers that he finished…
I have finished something in the past month… I made yarn. I spun this two weekends ago from some Autumn House Farms roving I bought a while back at Knit Wits… It needs the twist set but here it is on the knitty-noddy.

So, tomorrow, even though I haven’t finished my current socks in progress, I am casting on a new pair… because I had said before the AFC championship game, “If they make it to the SuperBowl I will cast on Steeler socks when they kick-off.” And so, I will be finally using the Steeler striped Regia I got at Bonnie Knits about a year ago…
And now, I must go knit!
Tomorrow morning I must do homework but tonight the yarn has won!
