So I’ve been thinking about “what comes next” in my learning journey. Montey used to say I’d be a professional student if I could get paid for it and he was not wrong.

So it’s been a while since I got a degree or a certification… so what to do?

I like some level of structured learning. Left to my own devices I’ll play games. And, well, I don’t really need another degree – it’s not off the table but why outlay money right now when I can find other ways to access structured learning.

I enrolled in Harvard’s Computer Science for Business course. It’s one of a number of free computer science courses they offer. I’d like to take the main one, and eventually the Python programming one, but trying to wade into the water not just jumping into the deep end before knowing the temperature…

Assignment one kicked my ass – this is not going to be a cake walk but it will be worth it.

But back to the original question – why am I this way? Someday my brain is just going to short circuit.
