Answering / Commenting on the comments from the last post…
First off though, Montey says to say thank you for all the compliments.
Now, The hat and slippers… Montey is like a knitting machine… he had a pattern for a felted beret and then a pattern for felted slippers. All hats and slippers since the first few have pretty much been a variation of those. I’ll hear, “well, what if I casted on 80 then increased 10 and then increased again in 3 rows” and the next thing I know… a new hat.
Poor Slim gets tormented more then Linny… mainly because he tolerates it much, much better then she does!
They both love to be “knittin kittens”. They’ll usually lay down and watch the knitting… sometimes sleep but usually it all just gets to be toooo much and they have to attack the evil yarn.
Tonight was night three in a row of classes… I have homework for all three for next week! Tomorrow night I have to stay late at work and help with a LAN switch upgrade… (essentially – I’ll knit until the guys done with the upgrade unless something goes wrong and he needs troubleshooting assistance…). It should be an easy upgrade though… Friday I think Montey and I are going to go out to dinner… and this weekend? I am going nowhere and doing nothing (except homework and knit on the couch).
During lunch tomorrow I think I have to run to Office Max and JoAnn’s… Or Friday…
And such is the exciting aspects of my life… I have knitted about five rows on a sock in three days. Suffering withdrawals?? Trust me, my hands are shaking and it ain’t the coffee.
