Just a quick little update.
We got a new cat this evening so that Silky Slim could have a sister. She is taking quite well to her new surroundings and her big brother. We got her from the Washington Area Humane Society via their “display” at PetSmart. You can see her from the pet page link above. Named her Linny (she’s a penguin / tuxedo colored cat and since Tux is the Linux mascot… well, Linny fit?) I’m strange, yes.
Went to my Aunt Phyllis’ on the 14th, got her hooked up with a faster computer then the one we took her at Thanksgiving and got her signed on with an ISP. She’s taken to e-mail, IM and web-surfing like a duck to water it seems. Very cool 🙂 We like to hook new addicts.
I’m still loving my Element. Finally got my “Screw Aerodynamics” decal for it… 33 days after ordering and paying for it. Okay, HOW tough is it to stick a decal in an envelope and mail it? Pretty tough apparently.
The job is going fine. They are a Cisco partner which gives my CCO login some damned fine access to training materials and virtual labs so that has cheered me way up about it!
There’s not enough caffiene in the house to keep me up another half hour so this is going to be it for tonight’s update…
Here’s hoping the cats get along overnight!!!
