Hi all! (all? what, two of you… maybe three?)

So, anywho… I have a guest this weekend… my nephew Michael is staying here for the weekend… I put him to work, he painted the closet in the guest bedroom. He wants to earn money towards a Wii… that closet has needed painted for two years… perfect!

Last night I cleaned up my computer area a bit… it’s a shame that it is the first place a visitor to the house sees if they enter from the garage as it is by far the messiest and cluttered. Well, the knitting arena in the living room is a bit messy and cluttered too… and… well… I am not the world’s greatest housekeeper by a long shot… I wish I was much neater!

I did some sewing today while Michael painted, a skirt and top that I had cut out a while back… I finished the skirt but not the top… have to stay out of the upstairs for the rest of tonight because I can’t breathe well with the paint fumes even if they are latex… hence the reason the closet didn’t get painted before this!

So no more sewing for me tonight… instead… I think I’m going to cast on my first Clapotis … I picked up the yarn for it at MS&W from Brooks Farm Yarn It is a yummy shades of coffee color in a 50/50 wool and silk blend.

I’ll leave you with another close up of one of the dresses. This one, being worn by Bethanie, is a regency era gown… think Jane Austen… The pattern is Simplicity 4055. It is a 100% cotton with hooks and eyes closure in the back. Very up to today’s standards as well! Again, it is for sale, e-mail me and I’ll send you all the measurement details, and we can work out an offer.
