Today was my first day of student teaching!
In the tradition of my grandmother, who, when she was visiting and it was the first day of the school year, would always take my picture on my way to school… Montey was armed with the camera for the last view before I left for school… The jacket lasted five minutes inside the building and did not get put back on again all day…

My first placement is with Kindergarten. There are twenty kids in the class and I believe I know about fifteen of their names after the first day… It was a wonderful day! I am now off to go sit down and reflect on the day, make notes, do MY homework, and relax for a bit.
