Clawing my way out of the deep black pit of my mind…

Hi! Aren’t you glad to see me back? I took a wrong turn on the journey into the middle of my mind and ended up in the deep black pit part. The journey back takes a bit of time.

Knitting went along for the ride but my concentration sucked. So, we have two christmas presents that aren’t done, scart #1 and scarf #2:

An ornament that is done and the beginning of a kitty bed. The kitty bed is going to be an assortment of feltable scraps, including my beginner handspun:

And, because I can’t make a decision to save my life… a bunch of little swatches, each in a yarn that I just absolutely love, to prepare for knitting a sweater in January as soon as I pick a pattern from the 20 or so that I absolutely love… Wishy-washy, thy name is Heather.

Montey made me a hat! It’s the pink and purple one, with a pom-pom! Very warm pulled down over my ears when going up to see the llamas! He’s also finished another beret, in brown Lopi, which he has proclaimed is his very, very favorite yarn!

In case the thought crossed your mind… yes, he’s also ventured on to items besides hats (or as he put it, “tell the sock pusher that I’m making felted slippers”) Now, I’ll leave you all to decide which one of you is the sock pusher! LOL!!!

In animal news, they are all doing well, llamas and cats both, but only Linny was available for photography this evening… and then only because I snapped the picture as a snore was heard…

I weighed the cats Sunday night… “Slim” is 21 pounds! Linny is a mere 11! Having said that, before you think the little delicate flower is at a disadvantage… lately she’s been taking him down, to the floor! We call it her “milk muscles” because she always seems to do it after she’s had her capful or two of milk.

Thanks for hanging in here and visiting!
