Wow! Quick shipping! Almost instant yarn gratification!!!

I placed an order Thursday morning for some yarn from FuzzyMabel.com. Guess what was in my mailbox Saturday afternoon?!?!?!? Yep, a package from FuzzyMabel. I am very impressed!

What did I order you ask? Two additional types of yarn, Flirt and Heaven, from Fiesta Yarns. Both in the same Clematis colorway as the other Fiesta Yarns I bought from Dyed in the Wool’s table at the Pittsburgh Knitter’s Day Out. Here is what constitutes my collection now of the Fiesta Yarns:

What am I going to do with all this gorgeous yarn you ask? Make this beautiful butterfly shawl:

Yes, I drooled too! Here are closeups of the two pictures:

I can’t wait to start on it. First though I’m going to sit down with the yardage and the pattern and figure out my layout of the different yarns. The original design only calls for two different types of yarn for the Monarch and one for the Swallowtail. Same pattern, just different yarns.

I’m still working on the “dishcloth” shawl I started at Wednesday’s Sit N Knit in Monroeville currently… making progress… I’m about ready to start into skein 2 of 3 tomorrow morning.

I love the thousands of colors that are in this yarn. Very unique. Also, as Autumn House Farm is only about two hours north or so… it is rather neat to be using local yarn.

Today was our EGA meeting where we started work on our Heart of my Heart needlework pattern. I didn’t get much into it before Lark was ready to go. Though I ended up chit-chatting so we were there for quite a bit longer anyway…

Well, I’m a bit concerned that my inaugural Sit N Knit in Washington, PA is going to be thwarted as there are rumors on the news of quite a bit of snow headed our way. WAAHHH!!! Like a foot possible… WAAHHH!!! WAAHHH!!!
