Ha. I wish I got snow days… Today would be one. Instead I’m driving to the Strip for work instead of my normal Bridgeville and it is because I have this changeover scheduled for after 5 that I have to be there for… Ick. Not only does the weather suck but my day is going to go hours past normal.
I did some web posting / advertising for the Washington Sit. Stitch. Knit. Bitch. last evening… I’m looking forward to a good turnout!
Well, I promised pictures were on their way and so I took a few this morning.
First, the finished scarf in Trendsetter Segue. I think I’m not overly fond of ribbon yarns. Don’t get me wrong, I drool over them… it’s just knitting with them they twist and I get all twisted too. LOL

And my work-in-progress… the shawl in the Autumn House Farm yarn… I started this Monday night. First I started a basketweave shawl… I cast on 63 stitches, ripped out, repeat cast on, knit 5 rows, rip out, cast on, knit a row, rip out, and so it went… I was sitting across from Martha and she suggested that I do a “dishcloth” shawl, very simple, cast on about 3, then k1, yo & knit to end for each row… I started it that night, worked on it a bit Tuesday night, ripped it out, cast on 7 and started over… Won’t be ripping again, I like it now.

And now I must go shower so I can get on my way to begin my fun drive into Pittsburgh…
