So… I finished cutting out the third dress and decided to do the bodice in a pale cream broadcloth. That left the full 10 yard bold of the white with blue floral print untouched… So, I picked out my dress as well… I’m using Simplicity 4551, view A which is the yellow print. I’m half way through the cutting of the pattern tissue…
I’ve forewarned Montey that, when I head up to actually start sewing, he may not see me for three days!!!
So, among the four of us ladies, I’ll have represented (as well as possible) the late 1830s, two of the 1860s, and the mid to late 1890s… I would like to have done an 1870-1880s as well, to show when the bustle moved to the back rather then doing two from the same time period, but I don’t have a pattern for that period currently…
