Orange is my favorite color…
But, that isn’t why this vest for Montey is orange with yellow trim (kind of like the dress right below it!). He wanted bright so he can wear it out in the yard in the fall and not get shot… So… hunter orange was the reasonable choice, no?
This was actually a more difficult project then I thought it was going to be… but overall I am okay with how it turned out… not overjoyed with the neatness of some of my stitching but okay with it… and it will keep him from being mistaken for a deer by some nearsighted hunter with a rifle…

I had to make one for my Monday night class (Lit and Literacy) and his adventure involved going to a fabric store and picking out orange fabric with yellow trim (hey, don’t laugh, they say to write what you know…) and so I photographed him on my dress.
