So… it’s been a long time… I’ve been slacking! I haven’t put a good post on here for the entire month of July! June barely had a one as well!
Time to get you caught up with my life!!!
Let’s see… Montey built steps up the side of the llama fencing so we can get up to the barn easier (’specially in winter)

I had fun spinning at the festival on July 2nd and 4th… I need to make my fiber bag a different color then my apron though… I look like I have a lumpy growth… LOL! This picture is from the 4th… the weather started out so nasty that day that I didn’t want to get my wheel out… so I used my drop spindle all day which was great practice!

July 8th I spent at the Carnegie Science Center… it was soooo much fun! I was there for class projects for both my Instructional Strategies and Curriculum Development classes but, being that it was my first time there, I had a lot of fun too! There is so much to see! The aquariums in the SeaScape exhibit are neat. And I loved the miniature railroad!!!

Montey got his tractor parts, (yes… in crates!), on the 12th… 3 days later he had it running! The picture of him driving it is from the 19th.

He got the tractor running while we were all up at Yvonne’s having a knit-together! I love those get-togethers! In the midst of running around, doing this and doing that… it is sooooo great to just stop, get together with a bunch of friends, and laugh and knit and just have fun!!! I really am grateful for the awesome friends I’ve made through knitting! It’s funny how you can take some yarn and some needles and create, not only knitted items but some great friendships!
On the 18th I had my 34th birthday… It also was my step-grandma’s 80th birthday party so on the 22nd we went up to Tioga County for a birthday party for her. Luckily I managed to get at least one picture of her before my camera batteries went kaput… (yes, right at the beginning of the prayer)

The garden is doing well (no thanks to me! it’s all thanks to Montey and the power of llama poo!). Yesterday we picked 22 pounds of cucumbers (yes – 22! and that’s about the third time we’ve gotten that much plus a few armfulls here and there)

School’s almost over for the summer semester! I have class on Monday and Tuesday nights and then I’m done until the 28th! Woo Hoo!
On the 4th I’m having a party here for The Pampered Chef® so if I’ve invited you, I can’t wait to see you! And if I didn’t invite you – I meant to and I’d love to see you too so e-mail me!!
I’ll be at the Washington County Fair (yes, all eight days!) as well so stop by to see me.
Knitting? Well… I haven’t made a lot of progress in the knitting arena! I’ve been working on the same pair of toe-up socks for about six weeks or more now! But they are turning out really great even if the going has been slow!!! The cool bag in the picture was a present that Donna made for me!

A big shout-out to my Secret Pal – honeybuhunny – I’m a bad gift recepient as I haven’t put up pictures of what I got so far!!! She noticed that I mentioned I wanted to try some sock yarn with elastic and sent me some (great color choice!) – and she sent some coffee too but that’s been gone for so long that I can’t even show you a picture of the empty package! LOL!

And with that… I think I’ll go for now… I have some homework to get wrapped up for tomorrow and procrastinator that I am… I need to start NOW!!!
Oh, wait… how can I put in an update and not put in baby pictures???
