I finally got around to taking pictures of my current lace shawl. It is 247 stitches wide and currently is about 32 rows high which is a bit farther along then this picture.

The lacey pattern is from “The Big Book of Knitting Stitch Patterns” and is a neat mesh and tight diamond pattern. The yarn is a tencel laceweight from “Just Our Yarn” which I got at MDS&W and am in love with!

Now, because I am a katzenblogger (thanks Jodi for that apt description!) I must share two cute pictures from the past week.
First off, Slim, with a look that says, “oooo, come hug me and love me”… or it could be “come here and let me see if I can draw blood”. Those two are so similar it is hard to tell…

Next, Linny, with her, “oooo, it is way too early in the morning for this sunlight thing” expression.

The silkworms are cocooning!!!

No pictures of the llamas to share. I snapped one that showed both the cats and both the llamas together at the bedroom window but it is too dark to really see… Will have to try for another of those…
