Finished objects here! I have finished, though premature, the shawl in the wool I got from MS&W. It really could have used a bit more time on the needles but I was impatient!

After seeing the potato chip scarf that Cheryl did, then the one that Jane did, I wanted to make one… but no yarn jumped out at me to be made into one. Then, Sunday, I looked at the mis-matched, tied together strips of crochet and knitting that are hung up and currently serving as a cat toy… and decided that a long version of the scarf in some kitchen dishcloth cotton that I had would be perfect (and since I bought the 900 yard skein, okay two…) I knew I had more then enough.
I am on row 7. It is the never ending row. Soon to be followed by the bind-off, another never ending row. Debbie at the Washington knit night looked at it last night and wondered about my sanity in making the never ending scarf for a toy instead of a cute little knitted mouse. I hope it is an enjoyable toy… that’s all I have to say.
And now another blogger is tempting me… Jill did this doll and it is cute! If I made one it could join the poor, sad, pathetic, cat with no ears.
Well, that’s it for now… Off to work on row 7 after I do a bit of blog stalking!
