Montey’s socks are coming along nicely. This picture makes them look all funky but they aren’t really… They are grey ribbing down to the bottom of the heel, then black stockinette. At the toes I’m going to change back to the grey.
I still have my “Lilac Top” in beige on the needles… I need to work on that… but… after seeing a Knitty Gritty show on cables, then getting the Knitting on the Road book, then getting the beautiful sock yarn… I want to make socks and more socks. I have not figured out exactly what pattern the Lorna’s wants to be… I have a couple ideas… Then, from the book I’m planning to use some solid colored worsted and make a pair of cabled socks for the house.
I think I should be able to finish Montey’s socks tomorrow.
