I finished the shawl. It really turned out very nice. I love the way the two yarns really set each other off.

I overestimated the amount of yarn I’d need though… Now I have three extra skeins. Actually five but two I wound up so they aren’t returnable… 🙁

I immediately cast on another scarf. This is in Trendsetter Segue. Size 15 needles. I don’t know how many stitches I cast on, somewhere around 120 I think. Doing the following pattern:

  • Row 1 – Knit
  • Row 2 – Purl
  • Row 3 – Knit
  • Repeat rows 1, 2, 3

I have two skeins of the yarn but I’m going to try to make the scarf with one leaving the other for another scarf…

I’ve been winding up everything in my stash with the new swift I got Friday from Knit-Wits in Greensburg.

As a result I have pictures up of a good amount of my stash here. When I see yarn I love I tend to get enough for a scarf or a shawl… I’m going to have a lot of scarves and shawls in my finished project stash I think.

Woo-Hoo! Tomorrow night is the sit & knit in Monroeville (7:30 at Borders). After my confusion of last week I am now sure that it is tomorrow.

I took a bunch of pictures of the cats yesterday and today as well as pictures of yarn. In these two they show you what great teeth they have.

There are more pictures that I took lately of them here.
