Yes, I am home!
I slept on the red-eye a bit… got home, slept some more, now I’m drinking coffee and astonished that so much of Saturday is gone!
With the knitting I did on the trip I made progress on my shawl!

I also started a farrow rib scarf in the blue Kyoto from Artfibers. Only about nine inches into that but it will be great mindless knitting for those times when I can’t concentrate to do the shawls or socks or such…
I continued to play tourist whenever I wasn’t at a work meeting or function.
Wednesday, a few of us went to Chinatown:

Then rode a cable car:

And took pictures of the lights:

Then looked at the restaurants at Fisherman’s Wharf:

And picked one with a wharf view:

Thursday, a couple of us went to Pier 39:

And saw the sea lions:

And then picked a restaurant with a great view of Alcatraz:

Friday I met back up with my cousin, Matt:

Went across the Golden Gate Bridge:

Had lunch in Tiburon:
(forgot to take pictures)
Went to an overlook of the ocean and the ruins of the ocean-fed bathhouses:

And then drove through Golden Gate Park:

And then went back and relaxed for a few minutes at his apartment before we left and Matt dropped me at the airport.
