Yep. I admit it. I have been soooo horrible about updating this blog! I got an e-mail asking when I was going to get around to it [Hi Jan 🙂 ] and so thought I ought to get out at least a short update!
So, knitting… um… I am still working on a pair of socks that I started last May… I have started and finished other little projects in the meantime (like socks aren’t little). A felted purse, an orange based mohair shawl, hat and scarf set, stuff like that of which I don’t have any pictures taken yet.
School… going well! If all the planets align correctly I will be student teaching in the fall and will get both my masters and my certification in December! Right now I’m in the middle of field experience and so am in a second grade classroom for a bit which is GREAT! That is a really good age!
Montey is still being a knitting machine and finishes many more projects then I. I was very lucky this past weekend, he had just finished a wool hat that needed to be felted when I came down with the crud… it helped with the shivering. He had also just finished making me a pair of Steeler colored legwarmers (don’t laugh!) and those helped keep the cold out of that space between the bottom of the pajamas and the top of the slippers. Yes, I was a sight bundled up in various colors of wool!
Well, I got up early to finish two lesson plans so that’s what I must go do… just wanted to let the world know I am still here and someday I may get to knit and spin and update again!
